The Samtel Quality Movement The Objective of the Samtel Quality Movement is to create an Environment where People strive from within to achieve Customer Satisfaction (external and internal), and Business excellence with social Relevance. We the employees of SDS Ltd. are committed to achieving excellence in quality standards and supplying products as per global requirements. Our policy is to build quality into the products and all aspects of business processes with continuous improvement in men, machines, materials and methods for achieving zero defects and total customer satisfaction. Quality System At SDS, the belief is to build quality into the products and all aspects of business processes through continuous improvement in human capabilities, machines, materials and methods for achieving zero defects and total customer satisfaction. The operations of the company are primarily focused on avionics, non-avionics and military applications. SDS is operating with SAE/AS 9100 Rev-B quality system standard. This standard encompasses ISO 9001:2000 and is specifically meant for the avionics industry. Thus, for the non-avionics industry, SDS by default operates with ISO 9001:2000 quality system standards. The products for military applications are produced in accordance with a series of military standards.
The experience of working with these quality standards has provided us an in-built capacity to continuously improve our business processes and achieve higher goals. We are under taking various 6 sigma projects, Kaizen projects and Poka-Yoke activities to improve our performance and the quality of our products. These projects / activities help us in operating with lean manufacturing and provide our customer with value for money at a competitive cost. |
